b) - The institution indicates the professions for which the graduate is prepared at the time of completion and the potential of the study programme from the point of view of graduate's employability.

The study program social work at the doctoral level of study at the Faculty of Education UMB is original in its focus and emphasis on the development of scientific and research competencies of the doctoral student for research and science of social work and thus for the performance of the practice of a scientific, research and pedagogical worker in research institutions, for creation of legislation and methodological procedures for the implementation of individual areas/fields of social work and specific methods and approaches in social work based on scientific evidence. The doctoral study program is focused on the intensive study of social (resp. socio-political, socio-economic and socio-legal), theoretical and research concepts in social work with the ability of scientific communication and presentation of these results both at the national and international level. In the preparation of future scientific and research workers, in addition to the above, we emphasize the development of competencies in the field of analytical, expert and research activities for the needs of the development of the science of social work. The originality of the study program also lies in the focus of the individual supervisors and the entire workplace (e.g. youth work, employment and labor market policy, supervision, behavioral addictions, service learning and volunteering), and at the same time, the existing Doctoral School at the Faculty of Education provides significant support within the framework of doctoral studies. UMB in Banská Bystrica, which has an interdisciplinary character (educational sciences, psychology, theology).

The specifics of the study program social work at the doctoral level of study at PF UMB result from long-term and close cooperation with experts from the Faculty of Pedagogy UMB in the field of educational sciences. It is implemented within the framework of the existing important doctoral school, which was created within the framework of the KEGA grant scheme and has a sophisticated system for training doctoral students. During their studies, students are involved in scientific-research projects (some of them are also accepted), which are led by the staff of the Department of Social Work of the Faculty of Education of UMB in Banská Bystrica. At the same time, during their studies, they actively participate in pedagogical and publishing activities.

A graduate of the doctoral studies of this study program can apply as a researcher in social work, creator of methodologies for the social field, analyst and researcher in social work, expert in social work (social-legal field, social services, employment services, penitentiary and post- penitentiary care ) . The primary area of employment for graduates are organizations under the management of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic or the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic. Graduates also find employment within local and regional self-government bodies and state administration and within the non-profit sector.

The potential of the study program in terms of the application of its graduates is indicated by current social problems, demographic changes in the population, but also the transition from institutional to community care in the field of social services. The European Commission's report on Slovakia from 2019 notes, among other things, a lack of social workers in the social field and the need to increase salaries and the attractiveness of this profession.

In addition to individually processed and sent comments from employer representatives, we held a joint meeting to evaluate the study program and obtain feedback. Before the meeting, employers could study the resources sent to the study program and to other degrees and forms of study. At the meeting, the processing of documents was positively appreciated, the employers appreciated the quality of the program and commented on the long-term cooperation. Employer representatives had no comments on the program.

4. - Structure and content of the study programme
a) - The institution describes the rules for the design of study plans within the study programme.

The rules for creating study plans in the study program are defined in Directive no. 1/2021 on Creation, modification and approval of study programs and submission of applications to the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education , in the Directive no. PF UMB 4/2021 on creating, editing and approving study programs and applications for habilitation and inaugural proceedings and submitting applications to the UMB RVSK and in the UMB Study Regulations .

When creating study plans, we followed the following rules :

- Profile disciplines are provided by pedagogical staff in the functional positions of professors and docents.

- The mentioned credit subsidy for subjects takes into account their position in the structure of the study program and the student's responsible workload (compulsory subject, compulsory elective subject), the highest credit subsidy is for profile subjects and compulsory subjects).

- The scope of contact teaching ( P,S,C,T,Op ) determines the necessary time allocation to achieve competences, as a rule, it is lower in compulsory optional subjects and higher in compulsory and profile subjects.

- Subjects and defined learning outcomes are related to each other thematically and competently in the sense of subsequent degrees of study (in the appendix Concurrence of study programs).

- The range of educational outcomes achieved respects the allocated credit subsidy.

- Procedures for evaluating educational outcomes are planned with regard to the need for real verification of abilities (not just knowledge), they are diverse and we monitor their difficulty.

- The difficulty of cognitive and affective educational goals corresponds to the degree of study and respects the Dublin descriptors .

- In their scientific-research, publication and/or practical activities, subject teachers devote themselves to the areas they teach. Alternatively, in relation to the given area, they have completed specific education or training.

b) - The institution compiles the recommended study plans for individual study paths.

In the structure established by Directive no. 1/2021 Creating, editing and approving study programs and submitting applications to the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education, we present the recommended study plan. The Faculty for Quality Support throughout the doctoral program organizes the PF UMB Doctoral School under the management of the Vice-Dean for Science, Research and Art. The doctoral school has a panel of experienced supervisors and teachers who take care of the continuous development of doctoral students and supervisors across all fields of study and programs . The goal of the doctoral school is primarily to support the scientific research and cross-cutting capabilities of doctoral students regardless of the field of study, the development of interdisciplinarity of doctoral research, and the socialization of doctoral students by:

1. implements the joint education of doctoral students for the development of their scientific thinking, research skills, academic writing, publication, presentation, communication and other cross-cutting skills according to par. 5 a) of this article,

2. organizes meetings of doctoral students, mutual exchange of experiences or support consultations in order to help them in adaptation, in individual steps and stages of study or research and to create space for them to receive diverse feedback.

The Faculty provides the student with access to the relevant and latest knowledge of the scientific field, including its methodology and the required interdisciplinary connections: it organizes professional lectures and workshops by prominent domestic and foreign experts through the Departmental Commissions of the School of Education and the Faculty's workplaces.

ensures open access of doctoral students to relevant scientific resources through supervisors and university electronic systems, implements feedback once a year on the content and quality of teaching and consultations at the School of Education, creates conditions and, through supervisors, ensures that every doctoral student gains relevant foreign experience during his studies, organizes educational activities for existing and future doctoral supervisors to improve facilitating leadership, mentoring, supervision and didactic skills.

The faculty provides support for the student's development of abilities and skills for the implementation of high-quality scientific research and high-quality scientific outputs: through the doctoral school, it organizes educational events and scientific activities for doctoral students, involves every doctoral student through supervisors in real scientific research, in the work of project teams, in cooperation in creative activities at home and abroad, provides doctoral students with methodologically oriented feedback by organizing joint presentations of doctoral students' research projects (usually at the end of the 1st year of study) and joint internal defenses of dissertations (usually 1-2 months) under the supervision of the vice dean for science, research and art before handing in the dissertation) with the participation of supervisors and other experts, provides constructive professional feedback to doctoral students through departmental commissions and supervisors through presentations of research objectives, results of their research in various forms, projects thesis papers, etc.; creates, through the editorial activity of the faculty and supervisors, enough possibilities for student publishing; requires involvement of doctoral students in relevant scientific networks and organizations; creates study plans for the scientific part in new study programs so that the student must compulsorily complete a more valuable scientific output abroad in a foreign language and cannot obtain the required credits for multiple repetitions of less valuable domestic outputs; provides counseling to doctoral students according to their needs; continuously improves the methodological and organizational security of the DS by specifying the responsibilities of managers and administrative employees, processing current methodological documents for doctoral students and supervisors, etc.

The faculty supports the quality of the pedagogical activity of doctoral students and the development of their didactic competences: by carrying out pedagogical activities in the specified scope under the supervision of a supervisor or other authorized experienced teacher who carries out consultations, internships and provides feedback to the doctoral student, by developing professional pedagogical competences in the form of internal training, or completing a university pedagogy course, involving doctoral students in mentoring and tutoring activities for full-time students of lower degrees, involving doctoral students in the organization of study-related activities.

From 2021, UMB will implement a development project supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, within which the University Counseling and Support Center was established in September 2021 , which provides social, psychological, legal, pastoral, special-pedagogical and career counseling for students and students and applicants for studies with specific needs and from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. The services of the center are provided to students and study applicants at a professional level in a safe space while observing the highest ethical principles of counseling practice. Counseling is provided in cooperation with the UMB staff, external experts and students of departments who are supposed to provide this type of counseling in practice and who work under supervision. UMB students have easy access to counseling and support services that meet their diverse needs and are a prerequisite for their successful progress in their studies and their emotional, social, intellectual and professional development and growth. This center provides personal and distance counseling for students and special pedagogical counseling for a specific group of students and applicants with special needs. As part of the activities of the UMB Career Center, it is possible to use career counseling services (individual and group), participate in workshops and trainings focused on career management, or try the course of the assessment center. One of the center's goals is to mediate contact between students and potential employers in the form of job fairs, professional lectures, workshops and excursions. The UMB career center regularly informs about current job positions, internship offers and internships on its website and social networks.

All information about the study program, including subject information sheets, is available in the Academic Information System (AiS2) and on the faculty's website. Course syllabi, criteria for meeting the conditions for obtaining credits and qualitative evaluation are published on the websites of individual teachers or in the LMS MOODLE system, always in the relevant course for the subject. The course of study, from entrance exams to state exams, is managed through AIS2. The LMS MOODLE system is used to support face-to-face and distance learning, and AIS2 and e-mail are used for communication and feedback. Each student has a university e-mail address and a mailbox, from which they have direct access to the University Library and its databases. Internet access is available directly in the rooms at all schools, most classrooms have Wi-Fi coverage, which is constantly expanding. Students can also connect to the Internet in the corridors of the Department of Social Work PF UMB. Department of Social Work publishes current announcements for students on its website, which is part of the faculty. In the LMS moodle provides information about the taught subjects, where it offers publications and teaching texts for access. Students can use all software programs for which the university has purchased licenses. In addition to general Microsoft Office 365 computer programs and other specific graphic or music programs, these are mainly programs to support their research: SPSS 19.0: a program for processing statistical data, Statistical program UNISTAT, ATLAS –TI: a program for processing qualitative research data and others . Each school PC can be connected to paid databases of publication outputs, to which we have licensed university access. c) - Characteristics and extent of distance education applied in the study programme with the assignment to courses. Access, manuals of e-learning portals. Procedures for the transition from contact teaching to distance learning.

The form of teaching is indicated in each information sheet of the subject. As soon as IL contains the flag of combined or distance form, the teacher is obliged to create an interactive course for the subject through the LMS Moodle e-learning support system. The use of the portal by students and employees is governed by Directive No. 3/2016 on the use of e-learning at UMB, which is accessible right at the start of the environment ( https://lms.umb.sk/ ). At the beginning of the study, each student is instructed in detail in terms of the use of e-learning support. In case of problems and questions, he uses additional consultation hours of study advisors or teachers. At the beginning of the semester, each teacher updates the course and sends access information (passwords) to students. In addition to syllabi and conditions for completion, the courses include links to online classes via MS Teams or ZOOM, videos of lectures with explanations, various assignments, support forums and discussions, polls, study materials and other activities. Students can also be evaluated through the courses. If necessary (e.g. the current pandemic situation), even in the case of face-to-face teaching, we smoothly transition to a distance or hybrid form of education in all subjects at all levels of study, and we regularly monitor and improve the quality of teaching in this form based on suggestions from students who take surveys participate.

d) - Institution partners in providing educational activities for the study programme and the characteristics of their participation.

The files are open to all UMB students, while they primarily work with UMB PF students. They are operated under the auspices of the Department of Music Culture PF UMB. Male and female students have the opportunity to participate in the activities of the UNIS student theater troupe, the troupe is open to male and female students who have a relationship with the theater and want to be part of it themselves. University Dance Center offers various dance courses for students.

For more than 20 years, UMB has actively cooperated with the Center for Volunteering, but in Banská Bystrica, which motivates students to get involved in their own volunteer programs, but also in the volunteer programs of other organizations and supports their involvement in the community. UMB students can become participants in the Duke of Edinburgh International Award program . PF UMB is the only university in Slovakia that is the local center of this award. It is a comprehensive development program that gives young people aged 14 to 24 the chance to develop their skills and character traits for real life, fulfill their potential and help them succeed in life. Students of our university can become not only participants of DofE, but they can learn the methodology of this program and become program leaders.

For spending free time, PF UMB offers several spaces in its campus , namely a buffet and a room for students (they are used for meals); relaxation and study room B003 (the room is used for relaxation, study, student meetings, the room also includes a kitchenette with small equipment for heating your own food); Cafe Kolečko , which is served by people with disabilities and in which the sale of coffee also serves to sensitize to greater sensitivity to the needs of other people; the CHILL POINT recreation area created by the students is on the second floor in building A, the dining room and cafeteria under the road leading to the PF UMB dean's office; Children's corner PuFkáčik (for the public as well as for children of employees or students).

In addition to the activities offered directly by the faculty and the university, the city of Banská Bystrica also provides rich opportunities for enjoyment, with which UMB actively cooperates and regularly informs the students about the possibilities via social networks and information boards in the faculty premises.

f) - Possibilities and conditions for participation of the study programme students in mobilities and internships (indicating contact details), application instructions, rules for recognition of this education.

Possibilities and conditions for the participation of study program students in mobilities and internships are governed by Directive no. 4/2019 on Erasmus+ mobilities at UMB and are published in a separate section of the PF UMB page dedicated to mobilities and study in abroad . In addition to mobilities within the Erasmus+ program, mobilities are also supported within other schemes, active cooperation in this area is with the SAIA organization. The Department of International Cooperation and Mobility also offers internship opportunities. PF UMB organizes Mobility Days every year in September, where students are informed about mobility and internship opportunities. Information is also sent to students in the form of a faculty newsletter in sufficient time for submitting applications . The call for mobility applications is published every year in the first half of the winter semester. Those interested in mobility submit an application and motivation letter. In the application, they have the option to select 3 receiving institutions that they are interested in. Subsequently, a pre-selection of participants is carried out , which consists of an evaluation of the submitted documents and a personal interview. Students choose universities where they can study their field and specialization. In cooperation with the departmental coordinators and the Department of International Cooperation and Mobility, they will prepare a preliminary study plan in advance. The results of the pre-selections are the basis for drawing up the grant application, which is submitted to the National Agency of the Erasmus+ program every year. The results of preselections are announced to students after the grant has been awarded by the National Agency. The stage of practical administrative preparation of mobilities follows . It is about communication with partner institutions and nomination of students. The student sends the partner institution the Learning Agreement and other documents as requested by the partner (extract of grades from studies, proof of secured accommodation, or language certificate). The department of international cooperation and mobilities prepares a financial contract and accompanies the student in the process of securing insurance, accommodation and the trip itself. After returning from mobility, the evaluation obtained for subjects completed at the receiving institution is entered into the AIS academic system. Subjects other than the recognized compulsory subjects are enrolled according to the student's preference (as a compulsory or optional subject).

The recognition of credits in the ECTS system is made possible thanks to the precise monitoring of mobility activities in the stage before, during and after mobility. Before mobility, maximum attention is paid to motivating students and mediating communication between students and receiving institutions so that it is possible to develop a realistic personalized study plan (learning agreement ) for each student, taking into account the requirements that students have to fulfill at home, as well as the possibilities offered by the receiving institution institution. The learning agreement remains a key and binding document even in the next stages of the implementation of mobility. During mobility, the Department of International Cooperation and Mobility, in close cooperation with departmental coordinators, provides continuous support to students sent on mobility. Any possible discrepancy between the obligations defined in the learning agreement and the reality at the receiving institution is resolved so that the student has the opportunity to obtain the necessary ECTS credits for the mobility period. The student has the opportunity to draw attention to inconsistencies in the curricula in a timely manner so that an appropriate solution to the situation can be proposed in cooperation with all parties involved. After the mobility, the staff of the Department of International Cooperation and Mobility, in cooperation with the Study Departments of the faculties and departmental coordinators, will confirm the recognition of ECTS credits obtained abroad. PF UMB also supports the recognition of blended and virtual mobilities in accordance with valid domestic and European legislation. Since 2021, UMB has been part of the interuniversity volunteering and service learning program called FLY , in which students can participate in international volunteering and service learning projects during the summer.

- evaluation of graduates and study programs by relevant employers,

- ascertaining the application of graduates of the study program in practice,

- further surveys and assessments according to current needs.

All the mentioned procedures are analyzed at different levels ( the main responsible person, the head of the department, the vice-dean), which is determined by the aforementioned directive. A report is prepared from each output related to the evaluation and quality of education. In addition to the evaluation, the report also contains a proposal for measures taken to ensure and develop the quality of education. These reports are archived and published in a separate section of the PF UMB website .

Other procedures related to ensuring quality and obtaining feedback within doctoral studies are regulated by Methodological Instruction No. 1/2022 to ensure the quality of doctoral studies at PF UMB .

b) - Results of student feedback and related measures to improve the study programme quality.

In order to obtain feedback on the quality of teaching, every semester at the SP department we implement pedagogical observations during teaching, informal meetings with students, interviews, self-reflections and other activities. The head of the department prepares a report on the activities carried out. From reports from recent years, we select the following identified strengths related to doctoral studies: significant student activation in seminars, thorough preparation for teaching, interestingly processed and continuously updated topic, use of practical examples of methods, use of open questions during teaching, provision of adequate space for feedback from students. Reserves were identified as: less space for students to continuously ask questions due to the limited time of the teaching unit, insufficient activation of all students, lower comprehensibility of the explanation of concepts in relation to the students' previous knowledge, problems in motivating part of the students to participate in the implemented activities.

From the level of PF UMB, data collection was carried out several times during distance learning, their results are part of the Report on Pedagogical Activities. The collection was anonymous, so it is not possible to select students from the social work study program. 156 students took part in the measurements following the call to assess student satisfaction with the quality of distance learning for the 2020/21 school year, while 85% of students were satisfied with the quality of distance education, 81% with the approach of the teachers, 91% of the students stated that the teaching took place via MS Teams or another application was carried out continuously according to the schedule, or through recordings of streaming videos stored in moodle . There were only positive responses to the quality of teaching directly towards the Department of Social Work. In our opinion, the positive evaluations are also a consequence of the measures taken at PF UMB since the beginning of classes. The PF UMB conducted training for teachers on how to work with Moodle and in the online environment, the courses in Moodle were checked and teachers who had prepared courses in accordance with the requirements and individual solutions were awarded and motivated, those who did not.

Proposal of measures taken at the Department of Social Work PF UMB:

• the use of extracurricular activities implemented at KSP to activate students in class,

• suitable creation of a schedule with regard to psychohygiene and the time requirement of the study,

• creating more space for students to express their opinions and attitudes, especially in seminars,

• enabling the expression of student feedback even outside of teaching hours, during consultation hours,

• at the Department of Social Work PF UMB, every subject even in full-time studies has a course created in moodl ,

• as part of harmonization, we adjusted the method and form of continuous assessment for some subjects;

• we informed the vice-dean for pedagogical activities about the evaluation towards the study department;

• we continue to carry out mutual and pedagogical observations of teachers in each semester, in which doctoral students who teach are also involved.

c) - Results of graduate feedback and related measures to improve the study programme quality.

The results of alumni feedback were obtained during the alignment process and are part of the evaluation reports for the program. In addition to the joint meeting, we individually contacted individual graduates, who appreciated the modifications of the study program, mainly towards the connection with the Doctoral School at PF UMB, and also appreciated the orientation to scientific training during studies. They suggested focusing more on qualitative research in social work, on the basis of which we added a separate subject to qualitative data analysis to the program.
